We built this UV curing lamp with one place in mind: the screen protector production line. It’s all about getting that adhesive to set fast—right where you need it—so the protector bonds cleanly to the display. At the heart of it is a high-intensity halogen lamp, built to keep up with the relentless, repeating rhythm of an automated line.
Technical Deep-Dive
The power behind it comes from a 400V, 2500W halogen lamp. That number isn’t random. It’s the sweet spot for packing a lot of energy into a small space. The tube is 300mm long, chosen to match the standard width of a screen protector line. That way, the heat hits the whole adhesive line in one pass—without roasting the parts around it. And the 400V input? That’s there to keep the power steady, even when you’ve got long cable runs across a busy factory floor. The lamp head stays consistent, cycle after cycle.
Material & Design
The lamp runs on a quartz tube with a special halogen coating. That coating does two important jobs at once: it keeps the infrared (IR) output high for heat, while still letting the UV through for curing. It also helps protect the filament so it doesn’t burn out too quickly. Then there’s the R7s connector—the standard for high-wattage lamps like this. It gives you a solid, two-point connection that can handle the high current without getting hot or coming loose when the machine is vibrating. In practice, that means it’s a simple, drop-in replacement. Swap it in, and you’re back to work.
Application & Benefits
On a screen protector line, speed is everything. This setup cures the adhesive in seconds, so your production keeps moving. The heat is concentrated, which gives you precise temperature control. That helps you avoid warping on sensitive materials—no guesswork, just a clean bond. But here’s the thing: that 2500W output creates a lot of heat.
