The Power Behind the Process

Glass bonding needs a UV field that’s strong and steady. You need enough intensity to fully cure the adhesive, without overheating the glass itself. So we built our system around a high-voltage, high-wattage halogen UV lamp. Running it at 400V gives us the extra electrical headroom needed to keep the output rock-solid, even when the power on a busy plant floor dips and jumps. With a 300mm tube and 2500W of power, you get the kind of heat density that can tackle large or densely packed bonds in one go. But let’s be real—this is serious energy. Plan for it. A 2500W tube throws off a lot of heat. Your setup needs proper airflow and a solid thermal plan to keep everything from overheating and to protect the lamp’s lifespan.
